Who I am
Hello, ​

My name is Lexi Hawkins, I am a rising Senior at Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg, VA. I play travel softball with the Williamsburg Starz Gold 16U (Myron Moore). I am also a multi- sport athlete playing softball and basketball. I take my studies very seriously and have a 3.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale. I will graduate in 2020 and would love to play softball in college as I pursue a degree in education with hopes of continuing to obtain my Masters in education.
Catching Skills
Pop time to 2nd base
I have worked non-stop on improving my pop time both from my knees and pop stance. Currently I am at a pop=1.9, knees=1.88
Blocking
Blocking is one of my strongest skills as a catcher. I am a true game changer because I am able to stop balls in the dirt and make my pitcher feel comfortable throwing any pitch.
Receiving & Framing Pitches
Receiving & framing is an art that I love. It takes a lot of hard work and practice to effectively catch fastpitch softball. I strive to help my pitcher paint the corners.
